Belarus claim another medal at Children of Asia Games

MINSK, 1 March (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes have won another medal at the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Games, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus.

Matvey Mager, Daniil Bychkov, Roman Zelenin and Timofei Zhuk claimed bronze in the 3,000m. Gold went to the quartet from Moscow, silver – to the team of Kazakhstan. Earlier, Daniil Bychkov secured bronze in the 500m, and the Belarusian team collected silver in the mixed relay.

Belarus has so far won five medals (two silvers and three bronzes) at the 2nd edition of the Children of Asia Games. The games will feature 57 medal events in ten sports. The Belarusian team comprises 68 athletes competing in eight sports. Taking part in the games are over 850 athletes from 12 countries.
