Belarus learn rivals at 2025 U21 EURO qualifiers

MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – The 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying draw in Nyon, Switzerland has set nine groups with 52 teams, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian U21 team drew with Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Andorra and Faroe Islands in Group G.

Other qualifying groups are:

Group A: Latvia, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Norway, San Marino, Türkiye

Group B: Hungary, Belgium, Spain, Scotland, Malta, Kazakhstan

Group C: Georgia, Sweden, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Gibraltar, Moldova

Group D: Poland, Estonia, Germany, Israel, Bulgaria, Kosovo,

Group E: Armenia, Montenegro, Finland, Switzerland, Romania, Albania

Group F: Ukraine, England, Luxembourg, Northern Ireland, Serbia, Azerbaijan

Group H: Austria, France, Slovenia, Cyprus, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Group I: Lithuania, Czechia, Denmark, Iceland, Wales.

The groups will be played between March 2023 and October 2024. The nine group winners and the three best runners-up will qualify directly for the final tournament in summer 2025 alongside hosts Slovakia. The other six runners-up will play off over two legs for the remaining three finals berths in November 2024.
