Belarus lose to Russia in friendly

MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian women’s national football team lost to Russian in the second friendly match in Minsk on 10 April, BelTA has learned.

The guests took the lead 31 minutes into the game after an accurate shot by Tatiana Petrova. In the second half the Belarusian players tried hard to get back into the game, but failed to hit the gate of Diana Ponomareva. Russians stood strong and scored another one in the 86th minute. Medea Zharkova made the final score 2-0.

The first match between the two teams ended in a draw 0-0 on 7 April.
