About 1,000 journalists from 12 countries accredited to cover 2nd CIS Games

MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) – About a thousand journalists from 12 countries will cover the 2nd CIS Games. This is comparable to the 2nd European Games, which were held in Minsk in 2019, BelTA learned from the Information Ministry of Belarus.

According to the organizers, 45 foreign media outlets from 11 countries have applied for accreditation for the Games: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Finland, Estonia.

More than 2,000 athletes from 23 countries will compete in 20 sports at the 2nd CIS Games. Competitions will be held in 11 cities of Belarus. For the convenience of fans, an online broadcast of the Games will be organized on the official website of the Games.
