Dinamo Minsk, Craig Woodcroft part ways

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk has announced the decision to part ways with head coach Craig Woodcroft, BelTA learned from the press service of the Minsk ice hockey club.

This season has become the fourth-straight one for Craig Woodcroft in the KHL and fifth in total in the position of HC Dinamo Minsk head coach. Craig Woodcroft guided the Bisons in 303 matches which is a record for the hockey club. With Craig Woodcroft behind the bench, HC Dinamo Minsk advanced to the playoffs four times (in 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023), but lost in the first round every time.

Craig Woodcroft’s contract expires on 30 April. The management of the Minsk ice hockey club thanks Craig Woodcroft for his work and wishes him success in his future career. The Canadian specialist continues to be the head coach of the Belarusian national ice hockey team.
