MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Hanna Davyskiba of Belarus claimed silver as part of Monza at the Italian Women’s Volleyball League Serie A1, BelTA has learned.
In the gold deciding match Monza lost 1-3 to Conegliano, finishing the series 2-3. Last season these two teams also faced each other in the final, with Conegliano celebrating the victory as well. This Italian team have already got six champion titles. According to the Italian media, next season Hanna Davyskiba will be playing for the Italian eight-time champion Bergamo.
The 23-year-old Belarusian’s husband, Uladzislau Davyskiba, playing for men’s Monza, will move to Modena which won the championship 17 times. This season both the teams finished their contention in the quarterfinal.
