MINSK, 6 February (BelTA) – The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has named the best players of the 2023-2024 regular season’s twenty-first week in four categories, BelTA learned from the KHL website.
Nick Merkley of HC Dinamo Minsk was named the best forward of the week (29 January-4 February) for the first time in his career. He scored 5 (3+2) points with a plus-2 differential in three games last week. The Minsk forward netted a double in Dinamo’s win over Admiral on Sunday (4-0), and recorded two hits.
Matt Jurusik of HC Kunlun Red Star was named the best goalie of the week, Martin Gernat of HC Lokomotiv – the best defenseman of the week, and forward Alexander Pashin of HC Spartak – the best rookie of the week.
