Sharangovich scores 60th goal in his NHL career

MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – The Calgary Flames, which lineup includes two Belarusian players Yegor Sharangovich and Ilya Solovyov, held a match of the KHL regular season on 12 December, BelTA has learned.

The Calgary Flames paid a visit to one of the Western Conference leaders – the Colorado Avalanche. The Flames led 5-3 after the second period thanks to four goals in the middle stanza. The fifth one was scored by Yegor Sharangovich late in the second period.

The Colorado Avalanche produced three goals in the third period to rally for the victory.

Yegor Sharangovich spent 19 minutes on the ice and produced three shots on goal. Today’s goal became the 7th one in this season and the 60th over four seasons the Belarusian has played in the league. With the total 233 matches played in the NHL Yegor Sharangovich has earned 120 (60+60) points.

Belarusian defenseman Ilya Solovyov spent over 16 minutes on the ice and produced one shot on goal.

The Calgary Flames sit 11th in the Eastern Conference. The team will next face the Vegas Golden Nights.
