GRODNO, 20 December (BelTA) – President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Belarus Viktor Lukashenko has joined the annual nationwide charity campaign Our Children, BelTA learned from the NOC.

Viktor Lukashenko visited the special education and rehabilitation center in Slonim District and the Slonim District social and pedagogical center.
The head of Belarus’ NOC was accompanied by famous athletes, champions and medal winners of international competitions: Chairman of the Belarusian Athletics Federation, Olympic Games medalist Ivan Tsikhan, European championships medalist in freestyle wrestling Aliaksandr Hushtyn, world championship medalist and champion of the 2nd European Games in rhythmic gymnastics Anastasiya Rybakova, world and European championships medalist in boxing Yauheni Karmilchyk.
The children together with the visitors took part in a theatrical performance “In the New Year’s Kingdom…”. The children got a modern sports playground, sweet s and fruit as Christmas and New Year gifts.
