MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number two Aryna Sabalenka defeated Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur (No.5) 7-5, 6-3 in the Cincinnati Masters quarterfinal, BelTA has learned.
In the semis the Belarusian will face Czech Karolina Muchova (No.17).
The other semifinal will feature Poland’s Iga Swiatek (No. 1) vs Coco Gauff (No.7) of the United States.
The tournament in Cincinnati will be over on 30 August.
