Belarus, Türkiye reaffirm commitment to increasing tourist flows 

MINSK, 19 March (BelTA) – Belarus and Türkiye have agreed to continue working on increasing tourist flows between the countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the Sport and Tourism Ministry.

Belarusian Sport and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Türkiye to Belarus Cem Isik. The parties discussed the topical issues of bilateral cooperation in sport and tourism.

The parties expressed interest in exchanging sports delegations in order to gain sports experience and also noted the friendly nature of relations between the countries. The parties reaffirmed their commitment to increasing tourist flows between Belarus and Türkiye and also discussed Türkiye’s participation in the Leisure 2024 exhibition in Minsk.
